What is “IP?
In the context of winch, IP is read this way: first two letters (IP) stand for «International Protection». The first number (e.g. IP67) shows how well the device is protected against solid particles and how well the user is protected against dangerous parts. The second number tells you how much water products are intended to be able to withstand.
